Siobhán Payne

Originally from Co. Sligo, Siobhán is a teaching principal in Scoil Mhuire Machaire Áirne which is nestled among the drumlins of County Monaghan.

She is currently seconded to the Leadership team in Oide and works as a Professional Learning Leader facilitating the organisation’s various leadership programmes in addition to providing school support in the area of leadership.

Siobhán completed her Masters in Educational Management with the University of Ulster and is currently completing a Professional Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring.

She has a keen interest in the leading of curriculum change and has engaged with third-level students exploring the area of curriculum studies in times of curriculum development. She believes fervently in the promotion and facilitation of active pupil voice and pupil leadership to support the provision of inclusive education and optimal pupil engagement and participation.
