IPPN's Leadership Support Team
Angela Lynch
Prior to taking up the role of Leadership Support Manager with IPPN in 2011, Angela taught in Glasheen Girls School, Cork, for over 36 years, 20 of these in a Teaching and Administrative school leadership role. She is a trained mediator with a particular interest in the area of conflict resolution. From being a founder member of Cork Primary Principals’ Network (CPPN), Angela went on to serve on the IPPN Board of Directors for over 10 years and currently, as part of the Leadership Support team, she continues to work closely with the Stepping into Leadership (SIL) support programme for newly appointed school leaders.
Donal Kerins
Donal Kerins has served as a teacher, principal, IPPN Leadership Support Team member and Chairperson of a BoM. He has a passionate interest in the development of capacity and welfare of teaching staff as the prime means to improve the quality of teaching and learning in schools. He has assisted several school staffs in developing their own bespoke Dignity, Respect at Work Charter and Policy.
Former Commandant in Óglaigh na Éireann (Cúltaca), Donal is an avid cyclist and walker and has completed the Tour de Munster, several cycles to Lourdes and Camino trails.
