Nuala Carroll

Nuala is a qualified primary school teacher with over 17 years’ experience in mainstream education, including five years as part of a Special Educational Needs (SEN) team. She has worked across a variety of school settings in Ireland, including special schools and autism classes, supporting children with complex and diverse needs.

Passionate about inclusive education, Nuala has collaborated with psychologists, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists to pilot innovative communication programmes. Her teaching experience also extends internationally, having worked with learners in France and volunteered in schools in Uganda. Nuala is known for her practical, compassionate approach to behaviour and learning support. She regularly works alongside school staff and leadership teams to reframe behaviour and build inclusive, respectful learning environments.
